FocusFrauen goes GründungsWerkstatt | Female Founders Night

We are pleased to offer "FocusFrauen goes GründungsWerkstatt" in English this time around with the Female Founders Night.

At this event we will have not only one but three very different but equally interesting startup stories, from financial to social endeavors to sustainable companies. The three female founders Chelina Höning, Rukayyat Kolawole and Suhaidatu Dramani will be talking about their startups, (activist) work and résumés moderated by Prof. Carina Leue-Bensch.

Chelina Höning is the founder of Female Entrepreneurs. She studied International Management B.A. in Germany and Switzerland and International Business Administration with focus on Entrepreneurship M.A. in Germany. She started her first business with 22 in E-Commerce. In 2021 she founded Female Entrepreneurs and helps women build their sustainable businesses. Female Entrepreneurs is an official partner of the Heidelberg Technology Park where Chelina also supports AI startups. More information: https://www.femaleentrepreneurs.de/

Rukayyat Kolawole is the founder and CEO of PaceUP Invest; a Fintech startup whose mission is to empower women and underrepresented communities financially and help with wealth-building irrespective of their income. She has over 16 years of experience in the financial industry and was a former VP Capital Markets and Treasury at BMCE Bank International London. She is a transcultural communicator and leader having worked on international assignments throughout her career. She is currently on the board of Kassavex, a social impact agricultural company in Nigeria, founding committee board member of 100 Women in Finance Germany and a mentor at &ahead, Germany. Rukayyat Kolawole earned an MSc in Finance and Investment Management. In 2020, she earned a double Diploma Executive MBA at Mannheim Business School, Germany and ESSEC Business School, France. Suhaidatu Dramani is an activist who works within Ghana's feminist and LGBTQIA+ community. She has been an instrumental part in founding and growing human rights organizations such as Drama Queens and LGBT+ Rights Ghana. She has also worked at several tech startups in Accra as a clients relations manager as well as a social media manager for notable feminist organizations and as a consultant with Makda PR. Currently, Suhaidatu Dramani works as a research assistant at HS Worms where she's completing a Master's in International Entrepreneurship, and is in the process of growing The Good Tree, a social endeavor she founded to boost the potential of girls from underprivileged backgrounds in Accra, Ghana. Prof. Carina Leue-Bensch is a Professor of Innovation Management and Corporate Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Business Management, Worms University, Germany and an Innovation Manager at Lufthansa Systems. She graduated in Business Informatics as well as Technology and Innovation Management (MSc) and holds a PhD in Innovation Management from Hasso-Plattner-Institute, University of Potsdam. Her main research interests are (Corporate) Entrepreneurship & Innovation, University-Industry collaboration and new ways of teaching and learning. In cooperation with FocusFrauen, the women's advancement initiative of the University of Worms, the GründungsWerkstatt is launching a series of initiatives aimed especially at interested female students. Through events with successful female entrepreneurs, we want to inspire and motivate, to whet the appetite for entrepreneurial initiative!
